Charles de Gaulle Universit é de Lille III has a long history of successful educational activities in the same profile - the study of the humanities and social sciences. There are three universities in Lille with almost identical names but different profiles. In 2018, these institutions made a decision to merge with a noticeable benefit: the number of places for admitting students increased, the teaching staff became larger, broader in profile, knowledge is exchanged every day. Now part of the now existing University of Lille in Northern France:

  • University of Lille I- Lille III
  • Lille Central School.

STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

About 18,000 people study here every year: most of them are French, but there are also 6% of foreigners. The teaching staff of Lille III is more than 800 specialists in various fields.

Teaching is conducted in French. For exchange students, there is an opportunity to take a course in English and attend French courses.

Accommodation, meals, prices

The university has a hostel, where accommodation is provided to all those in need. A student can live on one of three campuses:

  • Health campus
  • Moulin-Ronchen
  • Pont de Bois.

Each building contains living rooms, common halls and recreation areas, libraries and coworking studios.

For students with children, two kindergartens are offered, accepting pupils aged 10 months to 4 years, which allows students to continue their studies without unnecessary worries.

You can get to the place of study by bicycle rented from the university, by train, or by private car - there are parking lots for transport near the campuses.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

For admission to Lille III, you must provide certificates of past places of study, personal documents, results of entrance exams.

For foreigners, there is an Erasmus program - exchange eduaction, at the end of which a double diploma is given.

For comfortable learning, you will need knowledge of French or attendance courses additionally. Before entering Lille III, the university gives everyone the opportunity to take a language course, without submitting documents for education.

For admission to doctoral studies, you will need to provide a written research paper of the appropriate level.
