    Pre-Bachelor (Pre-Bachelor's Preparation Program)

    6. Level of education: diploma of secondary school (12 years of education).

    A special pre-bachelor's program is intended for applicants who need to bring up the level of language and knowledge in relevant disciplines before enrolling at the Kristianstad University undergraduate department. In addition to classes in language and subjects, the course provides an adaptation to the education system in the country and the system of study at the university. For admission to the pre-bachelor's program, you must have completed school education (with at least 12 years of schooling) and a fairly high level of English proficiency. Applicants are enrolled in the program and begin education in September this year, and finish the course in June next (the school year is divided into three semesters).     The Pre-Master's Preparation Program (PMPP) at Kristianstad University is a special program designed for foreign students who need support before entering the magistracy department. The course includes a set of disciplines and modules, the development of the language, knowledge of the subjects and the skills of training at the master's level. For admission, you must have a bachelor's degree (not less than 180 credits, including at least 90 credits in the direction of business administration) and a high level of English. Depending on the level of ownership, students choose a 2.5- or 3-semester program: the training starts in September or November of this year and ends in June next. If all the requirements are met successfully, students pass to the chosen master's specialty from among the available ones.

    Each semester consists of 7-8 weeks of classes, one week for independent work and one week of control - all weekly there are 26 hours of classes. The course includes a set of disciplines that are necessary for a thorough analysis of all topics and questions on the direction studied. All the teachers have a high level of qualification and successful experience of working with foreign students, the classroom has a cozy atmosphere, and the small size of the training groups allows paying maximum attention to each student and explaining all the complex issues. Classes in English are held both separately and included in the main modules - English specialists find an individual approach to each and help students in rapid progress.

    During the training, lectures and seminars, independent work and group work are conducted, students actively master the skills necessary for studying at the master's level.     A specialized training program for future students who need additional linguistic training and improvement of basic positions in specialized disciplines before entering the bachelor's programs of the University of Kristianstadt. Along with classes in English and specialized disciplines, the course is designed to adapt to the national conditions of the education system in Sweden and to acquire the skills necessary for academic integration into the higher education system as a whole.

    Those wishing to take the Foundation year course at the University of Kristianstadt must meet a number of requirements: the number of demonstrating English skills at a level of at least B2, a certificate and any other documents confirming the completion of a twelve-year course of study.

    The academic year is divided into 2 semesters, after completing the course, students are enrolled in the first year of the chosen bachelor's program (subject to availability).
