The educational center Humboldt Institut began its work more than 40 years ago - in 1977. Over the years of successful work, the main task for the founders of the institute was to give students from different countries the opportunity to learn German and do it quickly and efficiently. During this time, about 70 thousand people from more than 160 countries have been trained in 18 branches of the institute located in different cities of Germany. Some of the centers operate year-round, so you can attend courses not only in summer.

An intensive German course during the summer holidays is suitable for those who want to improve their language skills in a short period of time. During the 2 weeks of the course, students receive good conversational German experience and learn to express their thoughts in different life situations.
The main focus of the program is on enhancing the skills of speaking , listening comprehension, as well as reading and writing. Every day, the guys get homework, and at the end of the week they pass a test that allows them to control the level of learning.
The program includes 30 academic hours weekly. Duration of one lesson is 45 minutes. Training takes place in groups of 10 people, from Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday - days off.
Accommodation, meals, prices
Training and accommodation for students of the summer camp is organized in the KL residence: modern double rooms with all the necessary furniture are available here. Shower and toilet are on the floor. In the residence, bed linen and towels are changed regularly, laundry is also available for students - you can wash personal items for free.
Boys and girls live separately, for the rest, the principle of resettlement of students in rooms is based on two criteria: the level of knowledge of German and age. Even if the guests speak different languages, this approach will help them to establish communication and practice German outside the classroom.
Catering for students is organized on full board (tomorrow, lunch, dinner) right here, on the campus of the Humbolt summer school.

Every day, an entertainment program for sports campers, games and various cultural events, which can be joined after German classes in the morning, was thought out for the summer camp students. The following leisure activities are offered:

The Humboldt Institut Freiburg Summer Language School is held at the campus base in Freiburg. This is one of the sunniest cities in Germany, numbering just over 200 thousand people, which is located in the south-west of Germany, in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. The geographical location near France and Switzerland, as well as the constant flow of foreign students create a multicultural atmosphere in the city in which students from other countries can quickly adapt.
The camp infrastructure includes outdoor sports facilities, a gym, and an outdoor pool. On the roof of the guest house there is a terrace with a magnificent view of the surroundings. Wireless internet is available throughout.
Special attention is paid to student safety issues; therefore, adolescents are always under the supervision of staff, both on campus and during outdoor activities.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
In order to get into the Humboldt Summer Language School, foreign students must have a level of knowledge from elementary (A1) to advanced (B1), excluding zero. On the first day of training, students are tested, which allows to determine the starting level and distribute students into groups of 8-10 people.
