Harvard is the oldest university in the United States, founded in 1636. International students enter university on the same basis as US citizens. Harvard adheres to the position that undergraduate education is as general and universal as possible. Students can choose any courses: upon graduation, graduates do not have a diploma of any particular profession, but are considered a bachelor of science or, for example, a bachelor of arts. The school year begins in early September and ends in mid-May.
To submit you need:
- Collect a complete package of documents for admission (resume, letters of recommendation, letter of motivation).
- Send the original transcripts to the university by mail.
- Pay the registration fee for the application.
- Fill out the application form.
- Upload the entire set of documents to the site from your personal account for your registration.
- Wait for the decision of the selection committee.
For admission to the undergraduate program you need:
- pass SAT for 1470-1600 points or ACT for 32-34 points
- pass two SAT subject tests
- pass TOEFL with a score above 100
- provide a translation of the certificate from the GPA (taking into account the statistics on admission, your GPA must be at least 3.9 out of the maximum 4.33 points)
- prepare 2 letters of recommendation
- write a motivation letter.
