Standard ESL Program - 18 hours / week

This program provides students with the opportunity to master language skills methodically using an integrated approach. Young people improve their language skills through qualified instruction in a small group. The standardized intensive curriculum is divided into several levels:

  • ESL Level 1 - Beginning (198 hours / quarter): courses allow you to master the initial level of reading, vocabulary, listening, speaking, grammar and writing. Upon completion of these courses, students should be able to correctly write the basic sentences, understand oral speech. Classes and assignments in the classroom are aimed at expanding students' knowledge, using vocabulary, and the structure of the English language.
  • ESL Level 2 - Intermediate I (198 hours / four): The courses are aimed at mastering the average level of reading, vocabulary, listening, speaking, grammar, writing. At the end of the course, students should learn to write simple sentences and coherent paragraphs correctly. Classes are aimed at expanding students' knowledge, vocabulary, studying the structure of the English language, and moving from paragraph to essay when writing. Students will consider reading strategies, learning skills, computer skills (word processing), as well as library and research activities. Students will train to write in the classroom and beyond.
  • ESL Level 3 - Intermediate II (198 hours / quarter): participants master a high level of reading, new vocabulary, listening, speaking, grammar, writing. It is expected that at the beginning of the lesson, students will correctly write complex sentences, coherent paragraphs. Classes and assignments in the classroom are aimed at expanding the knowledge of students, using the new vocabulary, the structure of the English language. The courses are aimed at moving from paragraph to essay, students will consider reading strategies, learning skills, computer skills (word processing), library and research activities.
  • ESL Level 4 - Advanced (198 hours / quarter): students master the advanced level of reading, vocabulary, listening, speaking, grammar and writing. Upon completion of these courses, students should be able to read, write college-level sentences and coherent paragraphs, communicate, prepare for college-level academic work. Classes and assignments in the classroom are aimed at expanding the knowledge of students, using new vocabulary, and the structure of the English language.

iBT TOEFL Preparation Program - 5.3 hours / week + ESL standard: 18 hours / week

The English as a Foreign Language Exam Preparation Course (TOEFL) is aimed at improving the English language skills assessed by the exam: reading, listening, speaking and writing. Instructors studied the basic methods of conducting TOEFL exams, strategies for passing tests, and will help to quickly and effectively improve test results. Students will take TOEFL exams to answer real questions from past tests. The training covers the TOEFL Internet Based Test (iBT), TOEFL CBT and TOEFL PBT.
