Description of Teaching in a Teacher's Family Netherlands Home Language International

You can learn the language not only in general classes and groups, sitting over textbooks and synopses! The program Home Language International was established in 1979 and introduced a unique, innovative approach - learning a foreign language with living in a teacher's family. Initially, the concept was invented to study exclusively English, but today Home Language International students can study 20 world languages in 35 countries - it remains only to choose a suitable program!

During his stay in the country (minimum duration - 1 week) the student lives in the teacher's house together with his family. Accommodation is organized according to the full board system: three meals a day together with the rest of the family, a comfortable bedroom room and free use of the house's infrastructure. Constantly communicating with native speakers, you will not only be able to significantly improve your skills and knowledge in a short time, but you will also understand the features and cultural differences of another nationality, learn more about unique traditions and historical facts.

Almost all variants of the program provide for individual lessons with an experienced, qualified teacher. Lessons are conducted tete-a-tet - their intensity and themes are completely adjusted to your requirements and needs. Thanks to this individual approach, students of any age and any level of education can learn on the program - both beginners and experienced students. All the attention of the teacher is fully devoted to you: the teacher carefully monitors your achievements and successes, if necessary adjusts the curriculum if he sees that on a particular topic or aspect you need to concentrate in more detail.

In your free time, you will visit various cultural and entertainment events, excursions, stroll and give time to shopping, play sports and creativity - a specific set of activities depends on the chosen course option.

In the Netherlands, students from all over the world are encouraged to learn Dutch, which is a state language in the country and is fairly common in other European countries.

The course provides many additional options that you can choose as you wish:

  • Meeting and seeing off at the airport;
  • Transfer in both directions;
  • Private bathroom;
  • Luxurious placement conditions (increased comfort);
  • Certain subjects of the classes: preparation for tests and exams, business Dutch, etc.
