Harrodian School
Description of Harrodian School
The independent private school Harrodian School was founded in 1993 as a mixed education institution for children from 4 to 18 years. It adheres to the basic postulates of her founders until now -only her size has increased, and the level of infrastructure and technical equipment has improved (and continues to be regularly updated). Initially, the school included only 65 students and 12 employees, and today almost 1000 students, including foreign students, are already studying there.
The main goal of the studying is the full disclosure of the talents and abilities of children and the encouragement of their activities in any field: academic (educational), creative, sports, social and volunteer. Each person is considered a unique, distinctive and valuable person (regardless of his age and origin): everyone can freely express and defend their opinion. We have established warm, friendly relations between the students, teachers and employees - besides creating a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, this helps and develops a sense of tact, good breeding, mutual understanding, etiquette.
Harrodian School is divided into several educational stages:
- Kindergarten, or Pre-Prep Department = 4,5-7 years
- Primary school (Prep School) = 8-12 years
- Middle Schools = 13-15 years
- Senior, graduating classes (Sixth Form) = 16-18 years.
