Fachhochschule Salzburg students are accommodated in campus dormitories: the cost of living is from 350 € per month (together with Internet connection), meals - from 400 € per month.

Facilities and equipment at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences

FH Salzburg has 2 campuses: Urstein and Kuchl. Both campuses are located near the center of Salzburg, just a short drive away. Near the campuses are stops of transport, parking. Urstein and Kuchl offer comfortable residences with modern, furnished rooms with a kitchen and bathroom. The dormitory of Urstein has 328 rooms, while Kuchla has 102 rooms.

Classrooms are equipped with the latest equipment. Modern laboratory equipment provides ideal conditions for creative thinking and supports the most advanced teaching methods.

The University Hospital of Salzburg and the Hospital of Cardinal Schwarzenberg, in which students of the Faculty of Health practice and internship are located, are located in a picturesque place and are equipped with advanced equipment.

Admission dates and extra charges

The academic year is divided into 2 semesters, starting in early October. Student fee includes medical insurance and is 20 €.

1. Certificate of knowledge of the German language (the level depends on the chosen program).

2. Many programs also require a certificate in English.

3. Academic documents with applications translated into German and certified.

Recommendations on when to apply

- there are some very popular and high demand children's camps, where the applications need to be submitted 1 year in advance (in particular Switzerland , Great Britain , USA , Canada , Austria)
- we recommend to apply one year before the start of the training program,
- some schools have a specific time frame (September-November - please specify an individual school)
- some schools require tests in several stages (UKISET, internal tests of the school: English, mathematics, logics, subjects, interview, some require a personal visit)
- we recommend to apply one year before the start of the program,
- for Foundation and Pathway programs, IELTS and TOEFL certificates are usually required, respectively

- recommended submission one year before the start of the program,
- the deadline normally closes in January, for TOP HEIs and, as a rule, in March in other universities
- for a bachelor, a Foundation or Pathway preparatory program a completed A-level, IB, High School + IELTS / TOEFL are required
- for Masters you need a graduated higher education, in some cases you need a pre-Masters program
- MBA requires completed higher education, work experience preferably at least 2-3 years, etc.
