Description of The EUREKA School of Spanish

In 1998, one of the best schools of the Spanish language, EUREKA School of Spanish, was founded, which today provides effective, intensive language courses for students around the world.

Each teacher is a high-class specialist with an academic degree, who has extensive experience working with foreign students and international groups, is able to motivate students for achieving high educational goals. The number of students in a classroom is small - only 8 people in each - so that the teacher can give every student maximum attention, carefully monitor his academic successes, achievements, help in case of difficulties. Individual approach is one of the business cards of EUREKA School of Spanish. The educational process is aimed at developing speech and communication skills - this is what helps the students to easily later communicate with Spanish speakers, to work and study abroad, to travel.

The EUREKA School of Spanish is located in the historic center of the Spanish capital - its main building was built over 150 years and recently renovated, combining historical architecture and modern infrastructure facilities. The school is located in just a stone's throw away to the main attractions of Madrid, the main museums (Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza, Queen Sofia and others). Today, Madrid is a bright, distinctive, unique European capital, providing almost unlimited opportunities for entertainment and leisure. There is a huge number of shopping and entertainment centers, antique authentic shops, cafes and restaurants, bars with flamenco dancers, casinos and etc.

Students can enter the program with any level of initial knowledge - from beginners who are just starting to learn Spanish, to experienced students who want to improve their skills. Studying is offered at several levels:

  • A1: Beginner
  • A2: Basic knowledge
  • B1: Intermediate
  • B2: Intermediate II
  • C1: Advanced I
  • C2: Advanced II.

All EUREKA School of Spanish programs are accredited and fully comply with the standards of the Council of Europe and the Instituto Cervantes, one of the country's main educational institutions.

Before the beginning of the classes each student passes the testing, which determines the level of knowledge - it includes written and oral blocks, and according to its results a place in one of the groups is determined. The studying is aimed at mastering all basic skills:

  • Reading;
  • Listening;
  • Writing;
  • Speaking;
  • Studying grammar;
  • Vocabulary;
  • Phonetics, syntax.

Students learn to analyze and correctly understand the text, to comment on it, to write essays and translations.

Every day to enhance the conversational practice, meals with teachers are provided (each teacher is a native speaker of the Spanish language). In general, 1 academic lesson lasts 45 minutes, on average, students spend on studying 3.5 hours per day on average, which means that there is more time of teaching a week for almost every day than most other schools!
