Facilities and equipment at East Carolina University
The main student center of the campus is a spacious building of more than 20,000 m², which unites many objects: Dowdy Student Store, retail stores, Black Box Theater, Pirate Vision digital display, several lounges, study rooms, a game center.
The Eakin Student Recreation Center is one of the largest facilities of its kind on the East Coast. Eakin Student Recreation Center has an indoor, outdoor swimming pool, indoor climbing wall, multi-purpose courts, gym, juice bar.
The Hendricks Theatre is located in the Mendenhall building: it shows recently released films and conducts various theatrical performances and other events throughout the year.
The Ledonia Wright Cultural Center conducts research, educational programs, and deals with African, African-American, and Native American art. In the center there is a reading room, a computer room, conference rooms, an art gallery.
The West End Neighborhood Computer Lab is located on the ground floor of the White Hall, and the West Neighborhood Computer Lab offers residents the use of Macs and other PCs.
The Galley Food Court is a lively entertainment center, which has a food court, a café-bar, a mini-market, an outdoor seating area.
The College Hill Computer Lab serves as the main computer access center in the College Hill area.
Clark-LeClair Stadium is a state-of-the-box building for pirates baseball.
