Differences of studying in schools abroad: UK, Finland, China

It would be wrong to believe that schools are organized in the same way everywhere - each country practices its own approach to this process. Somewhere students are allowed to sleep on desks, study in open spaces, not do their homework, and not even get grades. Consider the most original educational systems of different countries?

Institute for Noble Maidens in Britain

In any British educational institution, even in those that do not claim to be elitist, students are taught the main rules of etiquette that any Englishman should have. In fact, real noble girls and guys are brought up in Great Britain : everyone, without exception, is taught good manners.

It is interesting how young pupils use the acquired knowledge. They can be a lot of hooligans, but at some point, it is believable to portray bewilderment.

Finland: Stress-Free Study

We all know that the years of schooling are remembered not only by their carefree youth, but also by a ton of homework, pressure from grades.

Finnish schools have taken the opposite approach: children are provided with an extremely relaxed atmosphere in which there is no chance of feeling uncomfortable. Schoolchildren are hardly given homework, and those who are behind the curriculum can be taught an infinite amount of time until the child has mastered the necessary topics.

China: study non-stop

Schools in China are fundamentally different from schools in Finland. Here, from early childhood, the child is accustomed to overly intensive studies. A very early rise, a few hours of self-study, school lessons - this is the daily routine of a Chinese student who returns home only in the evening.

The Chinese attach great importance to higher education : thanks to it, you can successfully build a career, achieve the desired heights. However, getting a higher education is not so easy: it is not even about entering the desired specialty, but about any available, and even then there may be few well-passed exams. Then the Chinese gain the difference in points due to achievements in sports. Chinese schoolchildren should study hard and be physically fit at the same time. You will not envy.

Upon graduation, students in China take the Gaokao exam. There is an opinion that our USE is developed in approximately the same format. "Gaokao" is a complex test in which it is strictly forbidden to cheat - so strict that someone caught cheating will not be given a second chance to pass the exam.
