In 1797 the prestigious boarding school Deerfield Academy was founded - today its campus is located in a picturesque place about 100 kilometers from Boston, Massachusetts. The main goal of education here is not only to give the children high-quality academic knowledge, but also to educate independent, responsible members of modern society, to instill in the children leadership qualities and to uncover the unique abilities and talents of each child.
The studying is conducted in small classes - this allows the teachers to practice an individual approach, more attentive to the successes and achievements of each child, to quickly notice the difficulties in mastering the program. In addition to a large number of interactive classes, teachers emphasize the discussion method of teaching: students do not just bite paragraphs and lectures; they master the material through live discussions, learn to express and argue their opinion.
