Description of Czech College

Czech College is located in the heart of the capital - the beautiful and historically valuable city of Prague. Czech College is a private business school where students from all over the world can receive a quality and prestigious education in English. The business school actively uses innovative educational approaches and modern technical means to study truly qualified and popular specialists in the world labour market. In the learning process, group exercises and team building are actively used, presentations and reports, case studies (personal and group) - everything that will help students to master all the subtleties of modern business and administration.

Much attention is paid to the study of professional business ethics, the development of tolerance and the skill of mutual understanding: students are taught to interact with representatives of any country, culture and religion, establish strong international ties and business contacts.

The Special Employment Department helps graduates to start a successful career in the chosen field, to find work, and organizes useful internships during educational process.

Undergraduate

According to the Bologna education system, adopted throughout Europe, the bachelor's degree is the first stage of higher education, which gives an opportunity to start an independent career after obtaining a degree. Typically, the studying in bachelor's degree takes three to four years, at the Czech College three-year education is accepted in most specialties.

MASTER

The second stage of higher education is available for holders of a bachelor's degree: often, master's programs are received by experienced specialists wishing to raise their qualifications and value in the world labour market. Master's courses are less in duration and rarely exceed 2 years: they focus on the narrower aspects of the chosen profession, allow you to study all the subtleties and specifics of small areas of the priority profession.

2) School of Healthcare - PGDHCM- Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management and the Nurses Adaptation Program. Available directions are the following:

The duration of studying is 1-2 years, depending on the chosen specialty.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Czech College does not have its own residences for pupils, but is always ready to help foreign students to find a suitable hostel or apartment for rent.

One of the most popular residences is located in the south of the Czech capital, 15 minutes from Metro station Chodov, near the main educational building. For students not only comfortable, fully furnished rooms are available, but also cozy common areas and living rooms for recreation, a laundry and own shop on the territory where you can buy food, sweets for tea and household trivia. For each two rooms there is a bathroom, as well as a general functional kitchen with the necessary equipment and appliances.

Also on the territory of the residence there is a spacious multifunctional sports and gym, and quite near you can find many sports fields, a variety of cafes and restaurants, shops and movies, banks and pharmacies. In the lobby of the residence there are vending machines with tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Since programs in Czech College are conducted in English, the key requirement for entrants is excellent language knowledge - no lower than 5.5 on the international scale IELTS. Also, applicants must present a completed application, a certificate of secondary education + a card with grades from a previous school, and also pass a personal interview via Skype with a representative of the admissions committee.

Recommendations on when to apply

- some schools have a specific time frame (September-November - please specify an individual school)
- some schools require tests in several stages (UKISET, internal tests of the school: English, mathematics, logics, subjects, interview, some require a personal visit)

- for Foundation and Pathway programs, IELTS and TOEFL certificates are usually required, respectively

- recommended submission one year before the start of the program,
- the deadline normally closes in January, for TOP HEIs and, as a rule, in March in other universities
- for a bachelor, a Foundation or Pathway preparatory program a completed A-level, IB, High School + IELTS / TOEFL are required
- for Masters you need a graduated higher education, in some cases you need a pre-Masters program
- MBA requires completed higher education, work experience preferably at least 2-3 years, etc.
