Master

The master's program lasts 1-2 years and involves a large amount of practice to improve the student's qualifications.

Accommodation, meals, prices

All unmarried students must reside on campus in university dormitories as long as there are available places. The dormitories have everything you need for a comfortable stay, the rooms are fully furnished. Students also have access to local restaurants and canteens.

Foodlab and WingSpan (local cafeteria canteens) are located on the ground floor of the Jean and Jerry L. Beasley Student Center. In the Dining Room Foodlab you can snack on wings, rootbir, burgers, sandwiches and french fries in the company of friends.

One of the most popular dormitories on campus among foreigners – Wilson Hall – accommodates 210 residents. In each wing of this building there is a common bathroom. Wilson Hall includes a study with wireless Internet access, a TV room with surround sound, a lounge, a lounge-lounge.

All furniture in the rooms is mobile, allowing students to remodel the room according to their personal taste.

  • Honor Society Psi Chi-International,
  • Sigma Zeta – National Society of Distinguished Bachelors in Science, Computer Science or Mathematics who have worked at least 25 hours, have at least 3.0 GPA in science and mathematics and 3.0 GPA overall. Facilities and equipment at Concorde University Portland

The Gene and Jerry Beasley Student Center is the center of Student Life at Concord University. It is home to the Academic Success Centre, bookstore, cafeteria, counselling centre, games room, food court and post office. The following offices are also located in the Student Center:

Research classroom equipment is maintained to stimulate innovative teaching and learning at Concord. The equipment includes West Virginia's only electron microprobe— a device similar to a scanning electron microscope that magnifies and chemically analyzes tiny areas in minerals and other solid materials. Also, the institution has an astronomical observatory and additional laboratories for research in the field of chemistry, physics and geology. In Concord, it is possible to use such equipment already in the classroom in the first year.

Admission dates and extra charges

Additional fees for a particular course will be assessed upon enrolment.

  • Books are valued at $25 per credit hour if they participate in the Follett access program. Otherwise, books are priced at $550 per semester.
  • There is a one-time fee of $85 for new students and $50 for graduates.

Enrolment process

In the application for education, you must specify your name strictly as it is indicated in the passport! If the name in the account is different from the name in the passport, you need to enter the name from the academic record in the "Preferred name" section. All foreign applicants must provide a permanent physical mailing address (not a PO Box).

After graduation, pupils have a valuable diploma with which they can continue their studies at the next educational stages (master's and doctoral studies), undergo an internship in another country of the world, find a job in America, Canada or Europe.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Transfer international applicants must submit:

  • Students who have studied at an international college or university must submit an official transcript from WES (World Education Services) or ECE (Education Credential Evaluators).
  • Knowledge of English (confirmed by the certificate of the international exam).

All foreign undergraduate applicants must demonstrate knowledge of English:

  • ACT – at least 15, read at least 18
  • TOEFL iBT not less than 60 points
  • TOEFL Essentials 6.0 or later
  • IELTS not lower than 6.0.

A personal essay and portfolio are also required.

All documents must be in English or have a certified translation.
