China is the first in the world to launch supersonic trains: 1000 km / h is not the limit!

At the beginning of 2023, the first successful tests of the full-size passenger capsule of the Hyperloop ultra-fast train, developed by a Chinese research center, came to an end in China. At present, the dates have already been set and the route of the first line of the vacuum train has been determined.

According to the South China Morning Post, Hyperloop will be launched on the route between major Chinese cities - Guangzhou and Shanghai. Previously, it took passengers about three hours to cover the distance between these cities, but thanks to the creation of the Hyperloop line, passengers will be able to get from one city to another in just 15 minutes! The length of the new route will be 175 km, and the maximum speed that the Hyperloop will reach will be a staggering 1000 km / h.

The implementation of the Hyperloop project in China will significantly speed up the movement of passengers between cities, significantly reduce travel time and improve the quality of transportation. It is expected that this will be an important step in the development of China's transport infrastructure and will serve as an example for other countries wishing to introduce advanced technologies into their transportation systems.

Presumably, if an ultra-fast train similar to Hyperloop operates between Moscow and St. Petersburg, passengers will be able to cover the distance between cities in about 55 minutes. However, the actual travel time on this route when using Hyperloop is still unknown, since no official tests have been conducted.

What are the speeds in China now

In China today, the fastest trains can reach speeds of up to 350 km / h. However, in order to increase the speed of these trains, it is necessary to solve the problems associated with rail wear and energy consumption due to air resistance.

Hyperloop technology is a transport system based on magnetic levitation and vacuum tubes. This technology was invented by renowned entrepreneur Elon Musk in 2012, and since then it has been of great interest to transport professionals and engineers around the world. The principle of operation of Hyperloop is that the capsules that carry passengers or cargo move inside vacuum tubes with the help of electromagnetic fields created around the capsule. This allows you to achieve very high speeds, while eliminating air resistance and friction. Hyperloop technology has huge potential in the future transportation sector, as it can significantly improve transportation efficiency, reduce travel time and reduce operating costs.

The Chinese government is seriously interested in introducing Hyperloop technology into its transport system. China has one of the most advanced high-speed train systems in the world, but further improvement of this system is hampered by limitations related to friction and air resistance.

However, Hyperloop technology can solve these problems, increase the speed of movement of passengers and cargo. The Chinese government hopes that by 2035, ultra-high-speed trains based on Hyperloop technology will run between the cities of Guangzhou and Shanghai. If this happens, China will be the first country in the world to successfully implement this advanced technology in practical use in its transportation system.

However, the launch of such a large-scale project requires significant work to create the necessary infrastructure, and simple tests are not enough.
