The main goal of the program is to prepare for higher education at the university. Certificate A-level allows admission to a higher institution without examinations. This is a standard program, typical for most colleges in the UK.

A-level courses and modules do not provide for a large number of academic subjects. The first year requires an in-depth studying of 4 sciences, in the second year students are fundamentally learning three disciplines. Before entering the A-level, the children have already chosen a specialty and know the subjects necessary for studying at the university. The college recommends not to study short courses, since some modules in them can be repeated, disrupting the balance of academic programs.

In CATS College London, foreign languages, a complex of art studies (plus fashion), literature, medicine, media, jurisprudence, economic theory, architecture, finance, business, natural subjects, sociology have been chosen for studying. Talented students can pass the accelerated A-level.

At the Foundation, you must choose disciplines from the directions that are required to qualify. This can be a business, a course in the study of art or engineering. A program is based on councils and requirements of employers in a specific field of activity. The Foundation also takes into account the adaptation to university qualifications.

Review about Guildhouse School (ex CATS College London)

Kira Masevich
(01.01.1970)

Before going to the UK to study was like most teenagers, mediocre. At 14, at the insistence of my father, I entered a London school.

SMAPSE experts have organized the trip, selected the school. Thanks to them, the trip was 100% successful. The London school is the best place where I have studied (I changed six schools). The guys from my group are now my best friends.

Angelica Yartseva, 15 years old, Cuts College London
(Female student)

I study Pre-program. I always dreamed about entering school in England, but could not decide on the direction. After graduation, I want to continue my studies at GCSE.

Thanks to the teachers of the college for their help. Now I know for sure that I will study foreign languages at the university. Now I'm bringing up English and starting to learn Japanese. It is easy to study, the education system in the UK is very convenient, all teachers are very friendly in the college, they help at the first necessity. Also, I have an opportunity to engage in an interesting business optional (FREE!). I attend a circle of art studies (with a focus on eastern countries). CATS College London
