Summer General English PLUS Explore Malta

  • Arrivals on Saturdays, departures on Sundays,
  • Age: 12-17 years old,
  • Duration: 1-4 weeks,
  • Total capacity: 150 students,
  • Minimum level of English for enrollment: any, from A1 (Beginner).

The intensity of the summer English course is 15 hours per week. This is the best option for those who want to improve their language skills and at the same time relax, swim in the sea to their heart's content, have fun and see local attractions. The program comprehensively develops all the main language skills and abilities:

  • Speaking
  • Written English,
  • Listening
  • Reading
  • Grammar
  • Vocabulary
  • Fluency and literacy of speech, overcoming the language barrier,
  • Project work.

The lessons are as interactive as possible, designed to give students as much space as possible to practice. Afternoon activities also help to practice: entertainment, sports, excursions with English-speaking guides.

Classes gather up to 15 people, as international as possible (students represent more than 75 nationalities in this school!). Pupils are provided with the necessary teaching materials and manuals, at the beginning they undergo distributive testing in order to work with children of approximately their level of knowledge. At the end of the program, everyone is awarded a company certificate confirming success, progress and the level of English achieved.

Lessons are held in the morning, in the afternoon students will enjoy games, entertainment and interesting trips around Malta.

The program includes:

  • Training Course + Distribution Testing, Branded Certificate at Completion,
  • Accommodation and accommodation (full board): residence on campus, rooms for 1-4 people, bathrooms shared or in a room,
  • Daytime entertainment and activities: dating games, water park, foam party, bay cruise, shopping, laser tag, movie screenings, Olympic Games, campfire evenings on the beach, etc.
  • Excursion program: every week – 1 for the full day and 5 for the half day (Valletta, Mdina, Comino).

 

 

Accommodation, meals, prices

Students are offered comfortable accommodation in the Campus Hub residence. These are cozy rooms for 1-2 people (with bathroom), fully furnished (beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs, bedside tables), and living rooms for relaxation and communication. There is a free laundry for students, a pharmacy, bed linen and towels. On the territory 24/7 there is a security service and administrators who can be contacted for any questions. Upon arrival, a deposit for the safety of property will be charged.

A professional restaurant service is responsible for the meals of students, offering children full board:

  • Breakfast: cereals, toast, juices and fruits, fresh pastries.
  • Lunch and dinner: dishes to choose from, including soups and pastas, always with vegetarian options, salad buffet and fresh juices.

If the child has special dietary or religious needs, they must be notified in advance to the administration.

Activities Campus Hub Malta Language School

Students during extracurricular hours will find a diverse program of entertainment on and off campus:

  • Games and walks on the beach, relaxing by the sea,
  • Bowling
  • Barbecue on the beach,
  • Treasure Hunt Game,
  • Boat trips,
  • Film screenings (including in the open air!),
  • Shopping
  • A festival-holiday in a classic Maltese village.

The excursion program is also well thought out:

  • Valletta: the capital, the Capital of Culture since 2019, walks through the main architectural landmarks, including the city's Cathedral,
  • Mdina: A quiet city and an ancient fortress,
  • Gozo Island (optional): the best beaches in the region!
  • "3 cities": a sightseeing tour of three cities - Bormla, Birgu and Senglea on the other side of the bay,
  • Comino and the famous Blue Lagoon.

The gym and swimming pool are within walking distance of the dormitories, residents of the Campus Hub have access to the services of a sports center with discounts.
