The School International School Braunschweig-Wolfsburg is accredited by the University of Cambridge and offers balanced, effective educational programs: foreign students are primarily interested in the GCSE course (14-16 years) and IB (International Baccalaureate for students aged 16-18). GCSE

A classic British curriculum designed for 2 academic years (14-16 years, 9-10 grades): it completes a part-time secondary education program and enables students to enter senior, graduating classes and subsequently prepare for the university. This course provides an opportunity (thanks to a flexible curriculum) to decide on personal priorities and interests, the inclinations of students. In total 8-12 disciplines are studied, some of which are compulsory, and the rest can be chosen as electives. To the list of compulsory subjects, which all students study and pass in examinations at the end of the 10th grade, are:

The cost of schooling depends on the chosen accommodation option:

IB (International Baccalaureate)

Comprehensive program of the international standard for students 11-12 graduation, senior classes (16-18 years). IB allows not only to complete a full school course, but also to prepare effectively for admission to the chosen university: the certificate is highly valued all over the world and is accepted by any higher educational institution of any state.

The curriculum includes 4 main blocks:

  • the study of the general theory of knowledge (CUR)
  • course CAS (Creativity, Service, Activity) - a rich creative, sports, social and volunteer activities
  • work on a personal research project, writing an extended essay
  • The study of academic subjects on the personal choice of the student.

For the convenience of selecting items, the absence of academic duplication, all available disciplines are divided into 6 thematic groups - it is enough to choose one option from each block:

  • English, German, Spanish as the main language
  • art
  • geography
  • English, German, Spanish as a foreign language
  • physics, chemistry, biology (natural sciences)
  • mathematics.

3 subjects in the curriculum are studied at a standard level of complexity, and 3 - on a higher, deeper and more thorough.

Residences for students who have chosen to study at a boarding house (together with accommodation) are just a minute's walk from the main educational and administrative building. For boys and girls, various houses are prepared: cozy bedrooms for 1-2 people, spacious common recreation rooms, all necessary infrastructure, furniture and household appliances.
