Description of Bishop's College School

  • Founded: in 1836
  • Location: Lenoxville, Quebec, Canada
  • Total number of students: 260 people
  • Type of education: joint (mixed)
  • Type of accommodation: residence (full board)
  • Language of instruction: English + French in-depth.

The prestigious and popular boarding school in Canada - Bishop's College School is an excellent choice for students wishing to obtain a high-quality secondary education in Canada. School history began in 1836, and today the institution is considered one of the best in the province of Quebec. At Bishop's College School, about 260 people are now studying, of which 65 are foreigners  - an international setting and multiculturalism are guaranteed!

As Quebec is a French-speaking Canadian province, despite the generally accepted English language of instruction (as an international one), French attention is paid to French: all students can study it in depth practically from the very moment of admission (admission to boarding school in Montreal is from the age of 12). The ratio of teachers to students is 1: 7, which makes it possible to practice an individual, personal approach, giving each due amount of personal attention.

Bishop's College School is part of the prestigious Round Square organization: it allows students to actively participate in international exchange programs, interesting international projects, volunteer and charitable activities - which is a great help when entering universities, not to mention personal growth and development. Graduates enter such prestigious universities in Canada and around the world as (according to statistics, education usually continues in English-speaking countries):

  • University of Victoria
  • Queen's University
  • London School of Economics
  • University of British Columbia
  • King's College London
  • New York Film Academy
  • University of Toronto
  • Imperial College London
  • University of San Francisco
  • Maastricht University
  • Stanford University
  • University of Manchester.
