Bachelor's degree in Canada: tuition fees for foreign students

Bachelor's degree in Canada: tuition fees for foreign students

Canadian colleges and universities offer a variety of undergraduate programs, all of which meet international standards. International students often choose Canada over other English-speaking countries, and the country readily accepts international students – this is part of the concept of nation-building. Smart young people who have proven that they have the ability, the desire to learn, the willingness to assimilate, are an important part of this concept. Canada provides high-quality higher education for a relatively low price, offers employment opportunities, work visas to graduates of Canadian universities.

Advantages of studying undergraduate programs in Canada

  • World-class universities and colleges located across the country are known for their research and innovation. Canadian higher education institutions are diverse, varying in size, volume, nature, breadth of programs.
  • High academic standards, careful quality control mean that students receive a high-quality education, contributing to their future careers. A Canadian degree, diploma, or certificate is generally recognized as equivalent to that obtained in the United States or Commonwealth countries.
  • The low cost of tuition, accommodation, relatively small additional costs makes Canada an attractive place for education.
  • Work while you study – bachelors have the opportunity to work during their studies, which allows them to manage finances. To be eligible to work off-campus, students must have a valid study permit, full-time study under an academic/vocational program of at least 6 months, which leads to a degree, diploma or certificate. If the candidate meets the requirements, his/her study permit will allow him/her to work up to 20 hours per week during normal academic classes, as well as full-time during winter, summer, spring break.
  • If you plan to continue your studies in the Canadian magistracy, then this is one of the ways to obtain permanent resident status - a work permit. It can be issued at the end of the program for a period not older than three years. Thus, a graduate who has completed a four-year study program is entitled to a three-year work permit, and a graduate who has completed a 12-month study program is entitled to a twelve-month work permit.
