- Official certificate of secondary education, certified by the relevant authorities: American high school diploma - at least B or 80% of the final grade (12th grade) or on average for the best two years in 10th, 11th and 12th grades; British High School Diploma - 5 IGCSE / GCSE subjects (O level) and two GCE subjects (AS / A level); IB diploma in six subjects (excluding Islamic education) - at least 24 points; German Abitur - minimum score of 7 in the last year.

- Color scan of the passport.
- English language test results: IELTS Academic - 6.5, TOEFL iBT - 80, TOEFL iTP - 550, Cambridge English - 176, EmSAT Achieve-English - 1550.
Scholarships American University of Sharjah
AUS offers a range of grants and scholarships to help students pay for their tuition. The university allocates funds for highly qualified undergraduate students with limited financial resources.
New students can apply for a financial grant, a merit-based scholarship, and a family tuition grant (awarded to a younger sibling when a family enrolls two or more children in the AUS) to cover up to 75% of the tuition fees. After the first semester, students can also apply for an additional scholarship.
