Summer preparation for IB

An effective combined course will introduce middle and high school students to the features of the IB program (International Baccalaureate). This is one of the most popular and widespread courses in the world: having received an IB certificate with fairly high scores, a student can enroll in almost any university in any country in the world - this certificate is so highly rated.
Education can be conducted in English or Spanish (at the student's choice). The academic plan of the course includes the following directions:
- mathematics
- literature
- drama and theatrical art
- English / Spanish (minimum 10 lessons per week)
- art and creativity
- history
- geography
- science (exact, natural, humanitarian).
The total intensity of the lesson is 30 hours weekly. In the process of learning, not only the subject knowledge is deepened - the students actively develop critical and analytical thinking, learn to find non-standard ways of solving difficult situations, quickly find and analyze new information, conduct research, successfully and efficiently work in a team.
In addition to the curriculum, teachers develop leisure activities and excursions: on a par with lessons, they are united by a single theme, which changes every week - this can be environmental protection, culture (world or national), history, economy, etc. In each class, no more than 18 people are engaged, and the ratio of teachers to students is 1:10 - here there is an individual, personal approach and attention to the requirements, the needs of each student.
The level of students can be different: before the beginning of the classes all pass the introductory testing and are divided into groups. So it is possible to improve both the effectiveness and productivity of the course, and its comfort for students.
Summer courses at Agora Lledo International School are held from July 1 to July 29, arrivals from 1 to 4 weeks. The cost of the week of stay starts from 1095 € - it already includes:

The main part of the students are accommodated in the hotel (La Cava, Cabanes): it is located about 20 minutes from the educational building (there is organized a school comfortable bus) and in summer is fully reserved for students, teachers and language school staff. The hotel offers students comfortable rooms with private facilities, designed for 1-3 people and equipped with everything you need, including fast free WiFi.
Also, students of summer language courses (especially Spanish) have the opportunity to live in host families: this will be an excellent speech practice with native speakers, will help to better understand the characteristics of the Spanish mentality, culture, traditions and customs.
