8 countries where it is almost impossible to get - and hardly everyone needs it

Everything inaccessible and little-known has always attracted a person, travel is no exception in this regard! In addition to the fact that in recent years, travel to many destinations has become more complicated in principle (either covid restrictions, or a geopolitical factor), travel has not stopped. But there is a category of countries that are traditionally extremely difficult to get to for one reason or another.

The widest category of countries is war zones, where, in principle, it is quite dangerous to go, and local residents seek, on the contrary, to leave there. Such countries include, in particular, Libya. There is a certain procedure for entry (coordination with the military authorities), and you will be able to refuse without explanation.

Yemen in different periods changes the status of tourism, in general it is considered unsafe, but it is generally possible to go there. The most popular places here are the capital Sana'a, as well as Socotra.

Less dangerous, but still difficult to access, is Pakistan - a country with a rich history and a variety of destinations for tourists, but you can not travel throughout the country. In addition, there is a high risk of internal and external conflicts with India, which can spoil the trip, incl. due to the experience of disconnecting the Internet and internal unrest that paralyzes cities. Pakistan is the most popular for climbers.

Saudi Arabia is available for travel, however, as in the above cases, its own accuracy is of great importance, incl. in relation to Islam - it will be necessary to observe a number of prohibitions that exist in this religion.

Somalia is often associated with piracy - and for good reason, because the country has been in a state of civil war for quite some time. Travelers move there in groups, with guards. Congo can be added to the same group - you can get in, but the risks of both a military nature and an epidemic are quite high.

North Korea is a country that almost everyone will name if you ask about the most closed direction! Individual tourists ("savages") cannot get here, only within the framework of pre-ordered tourist services (which at the moment are not issued at all). There is no mobile communication and Internet, but all hotels have paid telephone and paid Internet centers.

Easter Island and New Guinea are not the easiest destinations in terms of accessibility, both transport and material. In addition, obtaining visas (especially to New Guinea) can be very long.

The mysterious direction is Bhutan, aka the Land of Happy People. Landscapes of the Himalayas, ancient sights ... Bhutan is characterized by almost complete isolation from the outside world, and thanks to this it has preserved its identity. Traditionally, the country was considered quite inaccessible, but since September 2022, they have announced the resumption of tourist reception.
