The Wasatch Academy is the only private school in its category in Utah. It was founded by Minister Duncan McMillan in 1875, getting its name from the nearby Mount Wasatch Mountains. From them the motto of the school, which the students adhere to this day, also went: Let it endure like the Wasatch Mountains, call it Wasatch Academy ("Let the school tolerate everything like Mount Wasatch and called Wasatch Academy).
School is quite prestigious and popular even among foreign students due to its effective educational programs, high academic level, individual approach and professionalism of teachers. Each student can take additional classes (including individual lessons). But the main goal of education here is not only academic success, but also the education of a harmonious, comprehensively developed personality, ready for life in a modern dynamic multicultural community.
Almost 100% of graduates easily enter the selected universities, colleges and higher schools, among which the following are very popular:

The campus of the Wasatch Academy private school is located in the small cozy town of Manut Pleasant in the state of Utah, only one and a half hour drive from Salt Lake City, surrounded by mountain peaks and scenic valleys.
In each classroom, there are only 10- 16 people: this gives the teachers the opportunity to practice an individual approach, to give each student a maximum of personal attention, to track his progress and achievements, academic and personal progress. Today the school has a multicultural community: boys and girls from 22 American states and 30 world countries study here - foreign students make up almost half of the students of Wasatch Academy. For foreign students, it is possible to prepare for the TOELF exam, attend intensive ESL courses (English as a foreign language).

The school is aimed at teaching schoolchildren from 8th to 12th grades: this is the completion of the general school curriculum and competent preparation for entering the chosen university.
