St Lawrence College Summer Camp, based on a prestigious school in coastal Ramsgate, will offer students from around the world a wonderful, memorable summer experience. Summer English Course for Children and Schoolchildren
- Dates: July 3-30
- Age of students: 8-17 years.
The General English course is suitable for every student. What makes it universal?
- Testing before the start of lessons: the child is divided into a group according to the available knowledge (even if it is actually zero), so that learning is more comfortable and effective.
- During the course, small tests are regularly held to track progress and adjust the training course if necessary.
- At the end of the shift, everyone receives a branded certificate, a progress report for parents and recommendations for further study (what you should pay attention to).
There are 15 English lessons per week, no more than 15 students are engaged in classes. The main emphasis is placed on spoken English, communication skills. Developing oral speech, increasing vocabulary, children will quickly get rid of the language barrier and accent, make speech fluent and competent - they will understand that they can speak English in any situation and with any interlocutor.
Football Camp

- Age of students: 8-17 years.
A program for sports and active children, which will help them to spend time cheerfully and with pleasure!
For each week, there are 15 hours of football training, which are conducted by professional coaches of Paris Saint-Germain Academy England with FA accreditation. The main accents of training:
- Possession of the ball, running with the ball
- Dribbling
- "Shots", confident strikes on the target
- Passing and receiving the ball, sharp turns
- Defense, fight for the ball
- Air-to-air monitoring
- Goalkeeping.
Much attention is paid to team play: group strategy, game schemes, offensive and defensive combinations, tactics, work in bundles and pairs.
At the end of the program, each participant will receive a company certificate, a report on achievements and recommendations for further development.
Accommodation, meals, prices
Participants of the summer camp live on a full-board basis at St Lawrence College, boys and girls separately. Comfortable bedrooms for 1-4 people (single most) are prepared for them, and bathrooms and toilets are designed for a bathroom for every 5 people. Each house has a cozy common living room: here children can gather and relax, chat, watch a movie, play board games, drink hot chocolate before bedtime.
Bedrooms for 2-4 people are inhabited by children of similar age, but of different nationalities - this helps to make new friends and at the same time improve communication capabilities. After all, in this way students will be able to communicate only in English, which will only increase the effectiveness of summer education! If the children come together (friends, brothers and sisters), they will try to settle in the same room to make the stay more comfortable.
Students are supervised 24/7, there is a security service on campus and in residences, and educators are constantly in the houses.
The boarding menu is a healthy, tasty, balanced food, selected so as to give children all the necessary nutrients. After all, an active summer needs a lot of energy! Meals are organized according to the principle of a buffet ( buffet):

- Vegetables and fruits (fresh and in dishes)
- Protein products: meat, poultry, fish, tofu

If the child needs a certain diet, the summer camp will provide it without difficulty (upon prior request).
The price of the program already includes laundry services (once a week), bed linen and cleaning. But the towels are worth bringing your own.
The first aid service is constantly working on campus, a nurse is on duty around the clock, if necessary or difficult cases, the child will be quickly taken to the nearest hospital in Ramsgate.
Parents will be satisfied with the service of control over valuable things. Immediately after arrival, children hand over documents and everything valuable (passports, tickets, insurance, pocket money) for storage in the safe of the camp director. Their belongings, of course, are available at the first request, but so they will be safe, without the risk of getting lost during a walk or on an excursion.
Activities St Lawrence College Summer Camp
Excursions in the summer camp are held on Wednesdays and Sundays: for each shift of 2 weeks, a minimum of 3 full-day trips are planned.
- London: A themed tour of Wembley Stadiums, Emirates Stadium (home of FC Arsenal), Stamford Bridge (home for FC Chelsea).
- London: walk around the city, "Harrods", picnic in Hyde Park, Kensington district, Camden Market, lunch at Regent's Park.
- Hastings: local castle, walks around the city and the promenade, the unique Caves of St. Clement.
- Canterbury: The Canterbury Tales theme tour, shopping, overview of the local cathedral.
- Brighton: rest on the coast and the opportunity to eat local seafood, a walk around the city and the main city pier, shopping.
All expenses related to excursions and trips (transfers, entrance tickets, etc.) are already included in the price of the program.
Facilities and equipment at St Lawrence College Summer Camp
St Lawrence College summer school is conveniently located near Ramsgate (Kent), in this cozy seaside picturesque town. This is the south-west of England, the Tanet Peninsula, on which most of the beaches are marked by the famous Blue Flag: this is an indicator of the cleanliness and safety of the water and coastline.
The city has a Royal Wharf, which appeared to greet King George IV: he did a lot for Ramsgate and the local hospital. This is a cozy quiet town with majestic, but not flashy architecture, streets and squares for walking. The building of St Lawrence College itself is made in the style of a classic British guesthouse (the buildings mainly belong to the XIX century, but there are more modern ones), occupies 45 acres. The territory is located just a 10-minute walk from the city center, 20 minutes from the beach.
The nearest interesting city is the famous Canterbury with its legendary cathedral. It is also worth exploring Whistable and Margate: in addition to interesting architecture, they will offer excellent opportunities for seaside walks. You can get to London in just an hour, the nearest airports are the capital's Heathrow and Gatwick. Eurostar trains can take students to St Pancras Railway Station, Ashford.
On the campus itself, everything necessary for an active summer is prepared for children:
