Summer school in Canterbury is located near the famous Canterbury Cathedral. The educational institution, founded in 1597, is located in the historical center of the city. Classes take place on the campus of King's School. One of the oldest educational institutions of Canterbury is known for its high academic rankings, developed internal infrastructure. Summer program for children 8 - 17 years old

Short information about English course for those wishing to improve general language skills and to focus on the development of spoken language.

About the course: the medium-intensive program allows you to combine studying and rest in Britain. In the lesson, students are given the opportunity to update their knowledge of grammar, to fill up their vocabulary, and to practice their conversational speech. During excursions and entertainment, children continue to improve their language skills.

  • Students age: 8 - 17 years.
  • Requirements for admission: the minimum level of English is beginner.
  • The result of the studying: language progress, quality rest in Canterbury, acquaintance with the British educational environment, acquiring new friends among representatives of other nationalities.
  • Class size: 10 to 12 people.
  • Lesson duration: 50 minutes.

Students are offered accommodation in the residence on the King's School campus. There are 1 - 4-bed rooms in the residence. Amenities  on the floor are shared for every 4 students. The hostel also has in general use a kitchen, a laundry, a recreation room.

Students are offered a comprehensive board meal. Hot breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the school cafeteria, on the campus of which courses are held. During the excursions, students are provided with a lunch box. The menu in the school cafeteria is traditional. Students are offered British, European, vegetarian dishes.

Each course includes an extracurricular and excursion program. The first is represented by daytime, evening activities. In the afternoon, students are offered sports classes, creative master classes, and many others. The evening program can be presented by discos, barbecues, film shows, concerts, etc.

The excursion program summer school Canterbury is divided into two blocks. Each includes 2 excursions. Some are designed for half a day, others for the whole day. Short excursions include the possibility of visiting places like:
