The BA (Hons.) Business Studies Bachelor program (undergraduate )
This is a modular three-year full-time course (full-time), conducted jointly with the University of London Middlesex and approved by its specialists (students in Luxembourg receive a London diploma).
Every year, each student earns up to 60 ECTS (educational loans, credit units), that is, to earn a bachelor's degree with distinction, you need to earn 180 ECTS. Important point: the program has been going on for three years, so no more than 5 years should pass from the moment of admission to the moment of receiving the degree, so that the diploma with honors is considered valid.
The BA (Hons.) Business Studies Bachelor program necessarily includes an internship - at least 1 per year. Companies can be chosen at their discretion, in any country of the world (in this case, only the agreements on remuneration, ie the student’s payment during the practice, differ). This is a great way to test your knowledge and skills in practice, to get acquainted with real business situations and corporate environment. The internship intensity and student engagement depends on the course:
- 1-2 year of study: helps to develop business communication skills, to have a good understanding of the practices and goals of the selected workflow, to determine the most attractive area of business and the future direction of development.
- Year 3: A student is already responsible for a certain business aspect, having determined his priorities. Graduates compile an internship report in which the selected area / aspect of the business is deeply researched (this aspect is closely related to the subject of the training course) and the area’s involvement in the overall prospects of the company is considered.
The program is fully taught in English - all students for whom he is not a native are required to attend additional language courses. In addition, a second foreign language is selected for optional study: Chinese, German, Spanish, French, or Dutch.
