Top 10 Beaches on the Planet

Top 10 Beaches on the Planet

There are a huge number of different coasts on our planet, the total length of which is estimated at hundreds of thousands of kilometers. While not all of them are ideal for a carefree holiday, there are some true gems among them – legendary beaches that almost everyone knows about.

Matira

Matira Beach on the island of Bora Bora is a real paradise on earth, which is famous for its seclusion, despite its great popularity. This coral island is often referred to as the perfect destination for a luxury getaway, offering guests picturesque overwater bungalows, luxury hotels and white sands. Here you can often meet world celebrities who enjoy their holidays, starry skies and warm waters.

One of the most famous places on the atoll is the Bloody Mary restaurant: the establishment has become a kind of "celebrity alley", where Jared Leto, Pamela Anderson and many other stars left their names on a board at the entrance.

Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach is the most famous beach in Australia, which is inscribed on the national heritage list. Located on the east coast of Sydney, this place is a symbol of the relaxed beach life so characteristic of Australians. But Bondi isn't just a place for sunbathing and surfing: this kilometre-long beach is known for its vibrant nightlife, many bars and the chance to try local barbecues in the backyard cafes. Despite the lack of glamour, Bondi retains the status of one of the most stylish beaches in the world, won in the last century.

Matson-Hammock-Park Beach

Matson-Hammock Park Beach, located in the bustling city of Miami, is a unique oasis that transports visitors to the atmosphere of the 30s of the twentieth century: at that time, Florida beach holidays were just beginning to gain popularity. Matson Hammock is considered to be the oldest beach in the city. The landscapes of this place are fascinating.

Pamplon

Pamplona, located in Saint-Tropez, is a place with a rich history, because the filming of the film "And God Created Woman" took place here. This film was a milestone in the career of Brigitte Bardot, who, by the way, was born nearby.

Pamplon is still the most recognizable and longest beach in the region, stretching for more than 5 km. Here you can meet modern movie stars such as Vincent Cassel and Léa Seydoux, enjoy the atmosphere of the famous Le Club 55 or watch the mesmerizing sunsets. However, the most stunning views open up at dawn - the beach "looks" to the east.

Pink Sands Beach

Pink Sands Beach in the Bahamas is called a real miracle of nature, because the sand here has an amazing pink hue: this unique feature brought it the title of the most beautiful beach on the planet according to Forbes magazine. The pink color of the sand at Pink Sands Beach is created by tiny coral particles and crushed shells of sea creatures. The waters that wash it are famous for their incredible cleanliness and transparency: visibility under the water here reaches as much as 60 meters, which makes this one of the best places in the world for diving.

Ipanema

Ipanema ranks second in the ranking of the largest beaches in Rio de Janeiro, but it is considered a benchmark place for a beach holiday - the local ocean and pristine sand create a unique atmosphere. You can also enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and, according to many, the most spectacular sunsets in Brazil.

Near the beach there are exquisite boutiques and world-class restaurants, and the beach itself attracts both families with children and the local elite. A particularly popular section of the beach is the lifeguard station No. 9.

By the way, in the Guaraní language, the word "Ipanema" translates as "bad water", but the name of the beach has nothing to do with the quality of the water - here it is amazing.

South Beach

South Beach is where all of Miami Beach's most exciting events take place! Movie lovers recognize him from numerous TV series and Hollywood films. Despite the fact that South Beach has served as a filming location for many years, many stars, including Pamela Anderson, like to return here for a casual vacation. Here you can meet a lot of celebrities, enjoy the constant parties, extravagant fashion... and the need to wear sunglasses – it's too bright without them!

Las Salinas

Las Salinas is considered an icon of beach life in the 1990s and the golden age of Ibiza, but the place still retains its unique atmosphere. During the day, tourists relax on sun loungers, and in the evening, the beach comes alive with clubbers and famous DJs playing their best sets. The holiday season here lasts from April to October, but even in winter, tourists come here to visit the Roman ruins and medieval castles of Ibiza.

Asne-Lazio

Asne Lazio is the beach chosen by Kate Middleton and Prince William for their honeymoon. It is deservedly considered the best beach on the island of Praslin and the entire Seychelles archipelago.

This beach, washed by the waves of the Indian Ocean, is striking in its beauty: here you can see granite boulders and coral reefs, and next to it is the Garden of Eden, which, according to legends, is the very paradise where Adam and Eve lived. The garden is under the protection of UNESCO, and the local authorities carefully protect the fruits of the Seychelles palm, one of which, according to legend, became the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.

Paloma

Paloma is a beach located on Cap Ferrat, 10 km from Nice and a 20-minute drive from Monaco. Travelers consider it a symbol of luxury and elitism.

Once there were terraces cut down by the ancient Greeks for the construction of the city of Anao, and then they were replaced by Ligurians, medieval monks and fishermen. Today, this place has become a gathering place for nobles and stars, but despite its elitism, Paloma remains accessible to everyone who wants to enjoy its beauty.
