The cost of studying in private boarding schools in Barcelona starts from 25,000 euros per year and can reach 40,000 euros. The price usually includes tuition, accommodation and meals.
- The very first payment is the registration fee: it is non-refundable and covers the cost of the admission process. The registration fee (€ 300-750) is charged only once per student prior to the start of the official admission process.
- After the student receives the official letter of acceptance, the school asks for a deposit: usually between 500 and 3000 euros. It is used to secure a place in the school for a student and is applied only once per student.
- Tuition fees cover the basic costs of providing international education. For the convenience of parents, the annual tuition fee can be divided into three parts. Each payment must be made prior to the start of each trimester, prior to the school's published payment deadlines.
Some schools offer a discount if payment is made 3-6 months before the start of the term / semester / year. There are also discounts for families who enroll two or more children (brothers, sisters) in school.
In most cases, tuition fees for students who start after a semester has already begun will be charged for the full semester (regardless of the date of enrollment).
