The largest private network of design, fashion and visual arts schools - the European Design Institute, IED - was founded in 1966 by Francesco Morelli, who still serves as president of the organization. The Institute is registered in the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it is in many professional organizations in Italy and around the world - the total number of students reaches 9,000 people, representing 80 countries.
The aim of the study in Italy at the Design Institute is to give talented students a strong knowledge base and skills so that they can build a successful career, become popular and highly paid specialists. In the process of teaching, educational traditions and the most modern methods are harmoniously combined, innovative technology is used, all the latest trends and influences are carefully monitored, so that the graduates are as much as possible aware of the processes of the modern world.

BACHELOR
Specialty and bachelor's degree in Venice can be obtained in the following areas:
- Interior Design (Italian)
- Graphic - Professional educational Program (Italian).
The duration of the programs is 3 years. Requirements for applicants are as follows:
- Certificate of TOEFL (500 points) + Certificate of sufficient knowledge of the language in which the studying will be conducted (Italian, from advanced);
- High school diploma.
Master's degree and a diploma in the Venetian corps can be obtained in the following areas:
- Contemporary art conservation (English)
- Business for arts and culture (English)
- Curatorial practice (English).
The duration of the programs is 1 year. Requirements for applicants are as follows:
- TOEFL (from 500 points) or its equivalent
- Personal portfolio (at least 10-15 works on the design with detailed description and the date of implementation of each)
- Diploma of higher education (Bachelor's Degree)
- Personal resume
- Preferred work experience from 2 years in the chosen specialty (in some cases can replace the bachelor's degree).

The requirements for applicants differ depending on the chosen program.
1) Basic programs (1 year):
- TOEFL certificate (450 points) or its equivalent
- Secondary education certificate.
2) Undergraduate:
- TOEFL certificate (500 points) + a certificate of sufficient knowledge of the language in which the studying will be conducted Italian, from advanced
- Secondary Education Certificate
3) Master:
- TOEFL (from 500 points) or its equivalent
- Personal Portfolio (not less than 10-15 works on design with detailed description and the date of implementation of each)
