Accommodation, meals, prices

For its students, Edith Cowan College offers several accommodation options for the period of study - both on campus and beyond:

  • Students under 18 years old. In addition to the conditions for applying for a student visa, ECC attaches a student consultant to underage students who will help with accommodation issues and interact with parents on this matter. Students under the age of 18 must live under the care of a person over the age of 21. If a student in Australia does not have such a friend or relative, then accommodation in a host family is recommended.
  • Host family. This option is available and in demand not only among underage students, but also those who are already 18 years old. Most host families live in Perth, and they are all carefully selected to provide quality hospitality and food services. Host Australian families speak English, so in addition to the home environment, students in this case receive literally around-the-clock language practice. The host family looks after their foreign guest, helping him solve problems with transport, shopping or banking. An application for homestay must be filed 4 weeks before arrival in Perth. Approximate cost: from 165 $ AUD / week (room only), from 280 $ AUD / week - room and board on half board (breakfast and dinner).
  • Residence on campus. Here students can be accommodated in one of the ECU student villages - Mount Lawley or Joondalup, located a few minutes from the university. Students live in modern, fully furnished apartments. Here, young people have separate bedrooms and bathrooms, equipped kitchens and spacious common recreation areas. The residences also have a swimming pool, a cafe or a grocery store, a common laundry room, training areas (including an electronic library), 24-hour security. On the territory, students are assisted by resident assistants, if necessary. Rental price: from 85 $ AUD to 440 $ AUD per week. Pocket expenses (transportation, entertainment) - from $ 15 AUD to $ 150 AUD per week.

Advantages

  • Through ECC students are waiting for a quick way to enter one of the best universities in Australia
  • Students receive individual attention in classrooms, high learning efficiency
  • Convenient campus location and state-of-the-art campus technology
  • Providing students with a solid knowledge base that will allow young people to be ready to work and focus on building a career.
