Western Governors University (WGU) is a private online university founded by 19 U.S. governors in 1997. In August 1999, WGU launched its first degree programs, and a year later the first graduates graduated.

WGU consists of four colleges:

• business
• pedagogy
• Information technology
• Medical professions.

Each institution offers undergraduate, post-bachelor's and master's degree programs, as well as teacher eduactional programs. In total, 55 programs of various directions and degrees are taught.

In 2019, 119,618 students studied here, the average age of which is 35 years. Each student is supervised by a mentor, instructors and appraisers are allocated for the courses.

Since the education takes place entirely online, the programs do not have a limited period of passage - they can be completed when the student is ready for this.

Edcuation takes place in semesters containing 6 months.

To enroll in undergraduate programs, you will need:
