Short information about a program that allows you to improve your English and to gain experience living on the campus of the University of Canada.

About the course: the vacation course for children and teenagers includes lessons in classrooms, thematic walks (galleries, museums, etc.), excursions to the most interesting places in Vancouver. In the classroom, students learn vocabulary, grammar, practice in reading, writing, listening. On-site activities improve the skills of understanding English and speaking.

  • Requirements for admission: the level of English is from A1 to A2.

Students at Junior summer school in Vancouver are offered accommodation in a university dormitory. It offers single and double rooms. The bathrooms are in common use at the rate of 1:8.

Meals on summer courses are provided as standard boarding. During the excursion days the students receive packed lunches. Breakfast and dinner are served in the university dining room.

The school has a rich extracurricular program. It includes picnics, walks, sports and recreational activities (various shows, film screenings, discos, etc.).

There are also three short excursions and one for the whole day (per week). During these activities, students can explore Vancouver (architecture, museums), Aquarium, Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain.

Daily routine

Lessons usually end no later than 14:00. The rest of the time students can spend on excursions, sports, entertainment.
