St. George's Ascot is a boarding school with a campus in the center of Ascot, founded in 1877. This institution was attended by such famous personalities as Winston Churchill and Princess Beatrice.
Ascot is a beautiful English town in the county of Berkshire, which is one of the most naturally impressive areas of the United Kingdom.
The school provides students from 11 to 17 years old with summer programs, which include the effective study of the English language and disciplines collected according to the interests of students. Students have the opportunity not only to improve the language level, but also to study the culture of the country at a variety of domestic and outdoor events.
This is a camp with a long history and experience of teaching foreign students. For 30 years of work, more than 100,000 students from 60 countries of the world have studied at the programs. Similar courses are provided at the year-round campus in Dublin and at nine campuses in the UK.

UK Multidisciplinary Programme

- The training period is from two to four weeks.
This multifaceted program includes 15 weekly English lessons in small groups of 10-15 people, many excursions and activities in the afternoon and evening. Through this course, students can start or continue learning the language, gaining knowledge about the culture of the UK and acquiring new skills in sport, creativity and interethnic communication.
The program includes on-campus accommodation among country parks, three meals a day and many cultural events. On excursions, students will be able to see the main attractions of London, Windsor and Oxford.
Intensive Conversational Skills Course
- Age – 16-17 years
- The training period is from two to four weeks.
The course aims to help students develop conversational language skills. This is facilitated by a variety of activities and excursions, where students can communicate with each other and with native speakers, study the culture of the country and explore the sights of Oxford, London and Windsor. English classes are held in small classes of 10-15 people in the morning and include reading, writing, speaking and listening. The entire program provides 15 hours of group lessons and 10 hours of conversation practice per week. The rest of the time, students participate in sports training, go on excursions for half a day or the whole day, gather for evening discos and karaoke.
Accommodation, meals, prices
Pupils live in four St. Petersburg boarding houses. George's Ascot. Mostly students live in double rooms, but Markham House provides accommodation for one or three students per room, Old Loveday and New Loveday are placed in single rooms. All residential buildings are equipped with large and comfortable lounges with TVs, DVDs -players. On Sundays, a laundry room is open for students, where you can transfer bed linen and personal belongings.
Entrance to the guesthouses is carried out by means of key cards, which also lock the personal wardrobes of students. The security system on campus is thought out to the smallest detail - video surveillance for 24/7, personal passes, round-the-clock supervision of mentors.
All students are provided with three meals a day and packed lunches for the duration of excursions. Once a week, groups of students gather for a barbecue.
Kitchen cooks observe all the medical and dietary needs of individual students, preparing individual portions for them. The staff often organizes themed days of national cuisines of different nations to acquaint students with the culinary delights of other countries.
Activities St. George's Ascot Summer School
The infrastructure of the campus allows students to develop their hobbies, participate in sports and discover new activities.
The programme of activities includes one full-day excursion to London, Oxford or Windsor with a tour of the main attractions and several half-day excursions with a tour of the nearest nature reserves, the market towns of Guildford and Twickenham.
On campus, clases are held on team games: football, cricket, volleyball, basketball and rugby, swimming, badminton and tennis classes. Creative students can spend time in dance, drama and art studios, developing their skills in decorative and applied arts, drawing, theatrical productions.
Every day in the evenings, the school staff organizes fun activities, bringing everyone together: students participate in fashion and talent shows, discos and karaoke, quizzes.

The duration of the course can be different: 2, 3 or 4 weeks at the student's choice. Sample schedule:
- 8:00 – breakfast
- 9:00-12:00 – English classes
- 12:30 – lunch
- 14:00-18:00 – excursions, sports or free time
- 18:30 – dinner
- From 22:30 – night sleep time.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Applicants should be provided with a foreign passport, health insurance and the availability of an account in local currency. Entry and exit take place on Sundays.
All programs are designed for students with different levels of language knowledge, so there are no language requirements. Upon admission, all applicants are tested to identify their skills and distribute them into groups.
