MWS Toronto English Camps (MWS Toronto Summer Children's Camp) provides students from all over the world the opportunity to have a fun and useful vacation. The camp is located on the campus of the University of Toronto in the heart of the city and is divided into three age groups: 7-10 years, 11-13 years and 14-17 years; the course lasts from 2 to 5 weeks (to choose from). The camp is designed for students aged 7 to 17 years and includes a language course, sports and creative pursuits and an active extra-curricular life. The camp is divided into three broad groups by age:
- Junior Camp (7-10 years)
- Intermediate Camp (11-13)
- Senior Camp (14-17 years).
Student are divided into classes according to the level of language proficiency, which is determined in the interview: classes are held in small groups of up to 12 people from Monday to Friday, usually in the morning. All programs are carefully designed and created taking into account many decades of successful work. Students perform tasks on developing and improving the basic skills of linguistics: grammar and vocabulary, reading, listening, writing and speaking. Much attention is paid to the development of oral speech and the ability to correctly, accurately express their thoughts in written and oral form, in addition, special exercises are carried out to reduce and eliminate the accent. The process of active language development is facilitated by a complete immersion system - in the camp, students are not just engaged in lessons, but actively develop language in communication and everyday life. To consolidate the material, all students work on creative projects: a newspaper, a presentation, a theatrical scene, and others. Teachers of the camp have exceptionally high qualification and rich experience of working with students , they find an individual approach to each student and help to reveal potential. Classes are held in the format of a live exchange of views, and not mechanical memorization, which facilitates the rapid assimilation of material and overall development.
