University Transfer with Dual 2 + 2 Admission

The 2 + 2 program is designed for students who wish to enroll in an undergraduate course. Students earn a two-year Associate (Associate) degree at LCC and then transfer to their bachelor's degree. The university cooperates with many higher schools, ensures a smooth transition, and helps students. This option saves money by lowering tuition fees for the first 2 years and helps international students to get comfortable in the US academic system.

LCC offers students two types of accommodation: on-campus residence and host family.

Accommodation at the residence

  • Two-bedroom apartment (shared bedroom with shared living room and kitchen) - $ 695 / quarter. There is a one-time cleaning fee of $ 125 on down payment.

The monthly price includes all utilities except Internet and cable TV. Does not include food.

Homestay accommodation

Homestay accommodation is available for students from 16 to 20 years old.

Regardless of which country the student is from and what program he chooses, the experience of living with a host family will be an important part of American education. Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Required documents:

  • Copy of the passport
  • Official bank statement or letter confirming financial support. Display on the account at least $ 19,900.
  • Certificates confirming knowledge of the English language: TOEFL - 61, IELTS - 5.5 (according to the academic version), DuoLingo - 90.
  • Official transcripts from an accredited U.S. college or university showing completion of English courses 101 and 102 with a C or higher.

The Lower Columbia College Foundation awards over 250,000 scholarships per year. All students planning to attend LCC are encouraged to apply. Scholarship applications are accepted every year during the winter quarter and provide funding for the next academic year (fall, winter, spring).
