What distinguishes Swiss schools, making them highly valued by parents?

Several factors make Swiss schools stand out: safety, the opportunity for year-round sports and activities (like water sports, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, and team sports), and the chance to learn multiple languages amidst a rich cultural backdrop. Swiss education paves the way to top universities, and many state-owned Swiss universities offer world-class education at minimal cost.

Review about Leysin American School

Eileen
(09.03.2022)
Two of my sons study at this school. The kids are happy. I really like teachers who are able to present information on their subjects in an interesting way. Many lessons are held outdoors. Lots of hikes and trips. If you have any questions, you can quickly contact the school staff and get answers to them. Before the pandemic, there were many different interesting trips to other countries, such as Tanzania. Most of the schoolchildren are foreigners. The school has certain quotas for international students, so the classes have a diverse national composition. The sons became friends with schoolchildren from France and Spain. So far, so good.

High-level education. Available programs, the child with learning has no problems, although at home special talents the son did not seem to shine. The attitude towards students is friendly.

At Leysin American, my daughter studied for 2 years, from 2018 to 2020. I can say that the school gives a decent level of education. Good electives in fine arts and music. Before the pandemic, many cultural trips were offered. Good food and leisure program. We chose an American school in Switzerland, as we plan to receive higher education in the United States. Preparation for subjects at school is good, I was also pleased with the work of academic curators who help with career guidance. The price tag is quite adequate.

Children were sent to summer camp at this school. The camp was recommended by the SMAPSE agency, where we asked to find options for us. I liked this school immediately, first of all the location and architecture. Our manager Elena Krupysheva sent us detailed information on all the activities that the program includes, the children approved) Therefore, in the end, we chose this option and did not regret it! The location at the school is really great, a lot of sports and the excursions were really interesting. I liked the accommodation and food. The youngest daughter is allergic to a number of products, the school was warned about this in advance and an individual menu was drawn up for her!
