For more than 70 years, IHEDREA has been the only agricultural management school in Europe, allowing its students to study disciplines and areas of knowledge related to land use and cultivation. The education is based on the principles of respect for the past, environmental protection, sustainable development, bioeconomy, bioethics and the desire to increase the share of organic farming in agricultural production.

It was established in 1950 by Jean Maigret, a member of the Agricultural Academy of France, a judicial lawyer and a highly qualified expert in the field of agrarian law.

Since its inception, IHEDREA has focused on:

  • Links between economics and law;
  • Variety of teaching methods while maintaining high professionalism;
  • Direct contact with the world of business and agricultural producers starting from the first year of study with a total duration of production practice of more than a year for the entire period;

The school's campuses are located in three cities – Paris, Rennes and Toulouse.

AgroTech Manager is a three-year undergraduate program. The first two years students study together with BBA AgriTech Manager, the third - undergo practical training in the agricultural sector.

After completing the training, graduates can apply for positions such as:

  • Agency Manager;
  • Project Manager;
  • Development Manager;
  • Sales Manager;
  • Account Manager;
  • Commercial Director;
  • Marketing/Communications Manager;
  • Marketing / Communications Officer;
  • Recruiter.

Bachelor's Degree BBA (BBA AgriTech)

  • Age – 17+;
  • Duration – 4 years;
  • The language of instruction is French.

Four-year Bachelor of Business Administration program. The first two years, students study together with the bachelors of AgroTech Manager, at the 3rd and 4th - are engaged in specialization in the agricultural industry.

 Participants of the program will receive the skills and knowledge necessary to:

  • Providing legal and tax advice in the agricultural sector;
  • Implementation of development strategies in the agro-industrial complex and agriculture;
  • Development and implementation of projects for the development of land and agricultural territories.

Graduates can realize themselves in such vacancies as:

  • Advisor, expert on agrarian law in agricultural areas;
  • Consultant in the field of sustainable development and strategic support of agricultural entrepreneurship;
  • Advisor on Economics, Management, Taxation in Rural Areas

Paris

IHEDREA is located on the hep paris campus. Students of the school have an excellent opportunity to share their campus with other institutions of the network, which promotes both professional and personal enrichment within the framework of the "melting pot" format in the spirit of multicultural and international education.

The campus in Rennes is sometimes called "green", because it is located in a building built in 1860 in the middle of the Oberture Park designed by the architects of the Bulcher brothers.

The IHEDREA campus is 10 minutes from the historic centre, which can be reached by bus or metro. It is hybrid, unites under one roof:

Toulouse

In Toulouse, the IHEDREA campus also shares a roof with other HEP universities. It is located 10 minutes from the historic center and covers an area of over 1300 sq.m. Close proximity contributes to the development of horizontal ties and the enrichment of personal and professional experience, especially since Toulouse is the second largest university city in the country and the capital of the Occitan region.

In partnership with the authorities of the region, IHEDREA Toulouse implements continuing education and programs for the benefit of large state, municipal and private organizations.

Enrolment process

FIGS Education, an international platform designed for foreign students, is responsible for admission.

Exams consist of 3 stages:

  • Written tests in 3 subjects (this will allow you to get an idea of the amount of knowledge and the general level of cultural development) - English, logic and to determine the general level of cultural development;
  • Oral part, designed to determine the level of social integration, opportunities for the production, receipt and analysis of information;
  • Motivational interview (at this stage, the commission is trying to get to know the applicant better, to check his motivation, abilities and communication skills).

The decision of the commission is communicated to the applicant within two weeks.

In order for the admission committee to be able to consider the application for admission, it is necessary to provide a minimum package of documents:

  • Copy of passport;
  • Color passport-size photo;

  • Personal statement;
  • Letter of recommendation;
  • Motivation letter;
  • Copy of diploma/certificate;
  • Information about school performance.

A refund fee of EUR 75 will be charged at the time of the application.
