The main task of the course is to prepare students for entry into top schools with a high competition for places. To this end, the school has developed a competent program that fully complies with national educational standards. Food at our school is very important - just ask the students! We have a fantastic team of enthusiastic and dedicated chefs who provide the students with a varied choice of delicious, nutritious and well-balanced meals, cooked on the premises using the healthiest cooking methods. Students enjoy a choice of breakfasts (including an English cooked breakfast) a three course lunch, and a hot supper in the evening. There are also homemade snacks available at break times during the day.
The residential rooms are located on the upper floors of the school building and divided into separate girls' and boys' areas. Students sleep in dormitories typically for 6-8 pupils. The boarding staff also have bedrooms close to the dormitories so there is always someone nearby if needed. A weekly laundry service is provided by the Matron.

Highfield Summer School is owned and run by Highfield School, offering international students aged 8-15 years, a three week activities in a real English Country Boarding School. The course provides 60 hours of English language tuition with experienced and qualified EFL teachers, and Academic and STEM subjects, taught in small classrooms of typically of 8-10 students.
Students have the chance to experience all the fun of life in an English country boarding school including professional sports coaching (coaches with a minimum Level 2 NGB qualification) and an exciting array of typical boarding school activities, as well as excursions to historical and cultural sites. All this, within a caring and supportive environment dedicated to young learners.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
- APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND ENTRANCE TESTS
Parents are invited to register their students at any stage, but as availability of places can be very limited we would recommend registration at the earliest opportunity. Pupil reports from their current school will be taken into account and an interview with the Headmaster is required which can be conducted by Skype.
- ENGLISH LEVELS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY TO THE SCHOOL
Pupils attending during the main school terms are required to have sufficient spoken and written English to be able to participate fully in school life. All English levels (including Beginners) are welcome on the Summer School Course.
For the main Highfield School a non-refundable fee of £100 is charged for registration, and a deposit of £1000 is required to confirm your place.
