At Moscow State Medical University. THEM. Sechenova is studying more than 17 thousand students from Russia and from abroad. The university accommodates 120 departments, which employ more than 2000 teachers, more than 85% of specialists have academic degrees and medical practice.

On the basis of the university there are 9 clinics, 1 sanatorium, in which the development of researchers and graduates of Sechenov University is applied - the technical, personnel potential of the university and the clinic complement each other. • University named after Sechenova creates an online learning platform: the university is developing distance learning cases, electronic technologies, online libraries, reading rooms. • The first MGMU is a computerized platform that has unique multimedia equipment for conducting lectures of various formats, broadcasting operations, and virtual practical and laboratory exercises.

• Pupils visit cafeterias, cafes located on the territory of the university. Own and rented premises allows organizing meals for 1140 students. On the territory of the university there are additionally several food outlets that allow organizing lunches for more than 900 people.

The first semester begins in September and ends in January, the second begins in February and ends in June.
