The general course includes 20 hours per week, forms a practical understanding of English, free communication skills. The course will help to build confidence, to improve language skills in 4 main areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

  • The intensive course (30 lessons per week) includes the main module + 10 additional classes, allowing you to personalize your course, focusing on the study of the chosen topic.
  • The semi-intensive course includes 24 lessons per week, it is aimed at students studying in the USA, Canada. The curriculum includes 20 hours of general English, 4 hours of classes focused on the study of a specific topic to choose from. The general English course includes a compulsory module of 20 lessons per week, aimed at improving the practical understanding of the language, oral speech. Participants will increase confidence in communication, will practice basic speech skills: oral speech, listening, reading, writing. Participants make additions to the program according to their own educational tasks.
  • Intensive English includes 30 language lessons (22.5 hours) per week, includes a module of general English, as well as 10 hours focused on the development of individual skills.
  • Semi-Intensive English is a course available to students studying in the US or Canada. The program includes 24 general English lessons per week, 4 additional lessons on the topic to choose from.

Business English course is aimed at those who plan to pursue an international career, to be in demand in the modern highly competitive labour market, and to master language skills for free business communication. An intensive linguistic course helps to develop the skills of free oral speech, communication, the ability to accurately express your thoughts. All this will allow students to feel confident in the English-speaking business environment. The curriculum includes 30 lessons: 20 hours of general English + 10 lessons of English for business.

English in the city with EC Toronto 30+

The program "English in the city with the EC Toronto 30+" will help to fluently master English, to develop basic linguistic skills. Learning the language by complete immersion in a large English-speaking metropolis will improve the practical skills of using English and communicate with native speakers. A specially designed course consists of 20 lessons of a general plan and 10 lessons focused on the practical mastery of English during a stay in the city, intensive communication.

Participants visit various city routes: museums, art galleries, meetings with business representatives, city blocks. Pupils will plunge into the atmosphere of New York, will be able to significantly improve their language skills, practice English while communicating with local residents, fellow students and teachers in real-life situations.

Online courses in mini-groups with native speakers are offered to foreign students. Students have access to the learning platform.

Accommodation, meals, prices

In Toronto, students are offered two options for accommodation: in a host family, in the residence.

Host families are carefully checked by the school staff, prepared for the arrival of foreign students. Accommodation of students is coordinated by experts from the EU of Toronto. In families, the student is provided with a single room with telephone, Internet, all necessary furniture, two meals a day. Houses are usually located near the school or near convenient transport interchanges.

Residences are in the central areas of the city. Here, foreign students are offered 1 - 3-bed apartments with Internet, furniture, amenities. The territory of the residences is guarded around the clock. The buildings are located near the tourist infrastructure.

Subjects and sports

Activities EC Toronto English School

The European Center Toronto recommends to its students a number of excursion programs:
