VOGUE Fashion Foundation Programme

The VOGUE Fashion Foundation program is an introductory course that will prepare students for further study in higher education institutions. The focus is on creative practice – students will develop practical visual and digital design skills using the authoritative Vogue: Voice of the Century as their primary source of inspiration.

The Foundation program is suitable for school graduates who are interested in fashion-related courses but are not yet sure in which area they would like to specialize at the degree level. It is also suitable for those who do not meet the requirements for admission to undergraduate or equivalent courses at other institutions.

BSc with honors – BA (Hons) Fashion Communication & Industry Practice

This new version of the two-year, industry-focused bachelor's degree program offers a unique opportunity to learn about the fashion and media industry from Condé Nast, a global media company.

The BA (Hons) Fashion Communication & Industry Practice programme introduces communication concepts and industry practices specific to fashion, media and the wider creative industries, including beauty and lifestyle. This broad interdisciplinary course covers a number of areas that include:

  • fashion marketing and promotion,
  • branding, business and management,
  • fashionable style,
  • image creation,
  • photography, cinema and creative direction,
  • graphic and digital design,
  • fashion magazines, media and journalism,
  • fashion campaign strategies and content creation.

The course covers basic theory and practice, offering direct exposure and interaction with industry professionals. The curriculum is designed to provide flexibility so that the latest and emerging trends, philosophical debates, theoretical approaches, and industry practices can be integrated into the learning experience. The course encourages different perspectives and cultural perspectives to be taken into account; recognition of the role and significance of fashion in cultural, economic, global, local and societal contexts.

The aim of this program is to give students the opportunity to earn an Honours Degree in Fashion Communication and thus develop their knowledge and understanding of industry practice through training and interaction with professionals in fashion, media and related industries.

MA (Master's degree)

The MA enables professionals and graduate students to enter the world of fashion through a series of modules focusing on the past, present and future scenarios of the wider fashion industry. Closely linked to Condé Nast Publications, the course will provide exclusive access to the fashion industry and a high level of support.

This course is specifically designed to provide opportunities for people who want to work in the fashion industry but don't necessarily have a background in the field. You'll graduate with a set of transferable skills and knowledge that can be applied to a variety of career opportunities in the industry.

This master's degree is an internationally recognised qualification validated by the University of Buckingham and includes 180 credits at QCF level 7.

VOGUE Certificate in Fashion Communication

The Vogue Certificate in Fashion Communication is a level 4 undergraduate course. The course takes place during the spring semester of the academic year. The program provides a learning environment that will introduce students to the basics of fashion communication and industry practice, as well as provide an opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare either for further study at a higher education institution or for work in fashion or a related sector.

You will study for a longer two-year Bachelor's programme in Fashion Communication & Industry Practice, participating in three modules:

For the Online, One Week, Vogue Intensive Summer and Vogue Teen Weekend courses, candidates must apply at least one week before the start of the course. For Foundation, Diploma and Certificate courses, you will need to complete an application two weeks before the start of the course.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

All classes are taught in English. Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate that they will be able to participate in group discussions and give presentations in English. The standard level of proficiency for admission to Master's and Bachelor's courses is 6.5, Foundation, Diploma and Certificate 3 is 6.0-6.5, and the rest of the courses are 5.5. Additionally, the following are required:

  • Transcript of grades,
  • Motivation letter,
  • Portfolio.

Scholarships Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design

The college offers scholarships for British citizens and cannot consider applications from foreigners, however, for visitors, there remains the option with a Chevening grant.
