CATS College Cambridge is a leading college for high school students, located in brand new premises in the heart of the academic city of Cambridge. The world-famous King's and Trinity colleges are just a short walk from the school. Oxbridge Preparation Programme – from 27.06, 4.07, 11.07 – 3900£/3 weeks.
The course combines lectures, seminars, lessons, educational visits, is a thoughtful and thorough academic program.
- Lectures study topics such as research proposals, the place of philosophy in teaching, critical thinking skills.
- Seminars focus on practical skills: verbal, non-verbal thinking, the use of secondary sources of argumentation.
During the lessons, students will develop a personal application for admission to the university, see how the entrance tests are held. Visiting the universities of Oxford and Cambridge in the first week will allow you to form an idea of life in these prestigious educational institutions, about what is required to achieve success in enrollment.
STEM
Students will take part in lectures, seminars, laboratory classes, as well as excursions to places of scientific interest: Science Museum, National Space Center, Bletchley Park.
The course will end with a final project.
- Classes include master classes in physics, speeches of invited lecturers.
- Seminars include topics such as robotics using Lego, programming.
- Students will take part in practical demonstrations of laboratory work, will actively apply the theory in practice, exercise.
STEM & English For Science
Participants of the course attend lectures, master classes, English lessons focused on natural sciences, local attractions. Lectures are complemented by a master class in physics, invited lecturers. Seminars cover topics such as Lego robotics, programming. Students conduct laboratory work, apply theory in practice. Extracurricular activities include the Science Museum, the National Space Center, and Bletchley Park. English lessons develop each of four skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing + knowledge of scientific vocabulary and grammar necessary for the preparation of final projects in English.
Classics English Course
The course includes a full program of English language training, organized excursions, sports, activities on site: arts, crafts, theatrical performances, evening activities.

- Thematic lessons as preparation for excursions.
- Accommodation on full board (there is an option to stay in a homestay in Brighton, Canterbury).
Accommodation, meals, prices
CATS Cambridge offers accommodation in two residences, both with cozy single rooms with bathrooms. Elizabeth House (premium residence) is located on campus. The university house is a ten-minute walk from the hotel. Individual students (who came without a group) live in the Elizabeth House residence.

- 1 half-day excursion 1r./week Examples of half-day excursions: Ely, Bury St Edmunds or Stamford.

- Additional full-day excursions: Oxford, Windsor Castle or Thorpe Park.
